SGA Projected for 59.7 PRA vs Mavs as Thunder Injuries Pile Up
With four rotation pieces sidelined in Dallas, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's usage is about to spike — and the props model is screaming.

Four Thunder rotation players out means a monster usage night in Dallas.
- SGA projected for 59.7 PRA Wednesday vs Dallas
- J-Dub, Wallace, Caruso, Holmgren, Sorber all out
- Holmgren averaging 34.5 FPTS/G in 2026-27 (3 GP)
- LeBron projected for 36.1 PRA vs Pacers
- Zubac out, Haliburton and Nembhard questionable
If you own Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, clear your Wednesday schedule. The two-time reigning MVP walks into Dallas without most of his supporting cast — Jalen Williams and Cason Wallace are both out after injuries earlier this week, and Alex Caruso, Chet Holmgren and Thomas Sorber join them on the shelf. The props model responded by projecting SGA for a frankly ridiculous 59.7 points-rebounds-assists.
That's not a typo. With four regulars unavailable, the ball runs through SGA on nearly every possession, and the model is pricing in the kind of usage spike that turns an elite night into a season-defining one. For fantasy managers, this is the cleanest smash-start spot on the slate.
What the Injuries Mean for OKC's Shares
The absences hurt from a lineup standpoint but they're a gift for SGA's counting stats. Holmgren was quietly productive before going down — 12 points, 9.3 rebounds and 34.5 fantasy points per game across three outings in 2026-27, good for our #45 overall ranking and #8 among centers. Caruso (25 FPTS/G, #266) and Wallace (16.9 FPTS/G, #178) are both minor dings to the Thunder rotation, but if you roster either, they're sits until we get clarity.
LeBron's Quieter Smash Spot
Over in Indiana, the model likes LeBron James for 36.1 PRA against the Pacers. James has cleared his number in two of his four games with the 76ers, and Wednesday sets up favorably: Ivica Zubac is out, while Andrew Nembhard and Tyrese Haliburton are both questionable. Nembhard has been a useful piece early — 16 points and 5.7 assists for 27.6 fantasy points per game in 2026-27 (3 games), ranked #52 overall — so his status is worth tracking right up to tip.
The short version: SGA is a must-start no matter the format, and his projected 59.7 PRA is the highest ceiling on the board. If Nembhard sits, James gets even more runway to beat his line. Keep an eye on the Pacers' injury report before lineups lock, because a Haliburton-plus-Nembhard scratch would open the floor for LeBron considerably.
For streamers, there's no obvious add from the Thunder's depleted bench yet — Caruso and Wallace don't carry enough of a role to chase even in a short-handed game. Ride SGA, lean on LeBron, and let the rest settle.
