The Fantasy Fallout
Here's the tension: Maxey's last five games last season dipped a brutal -12 FPTS below his average, and now his usage ceiling gets capped by three other mouths to feed. Embiid, by contrast, closed +5.1 above his average over his final five — when healthy, the touches funnel to him regardless of who else is on the floor. Brown slid -3.3 over his last five and slots in as the clearest odd-man-out for volume.
Actionable read: this is a SELL HIGH window on Maxey while his name value is peaking — his per-game numbers are real, but the shot pie just shrank. HOLD Embiid as the interior focal point (games played is the only worry). LeBron is a comfortable start whose passing floor plays anywhere, and Brown is the one I'd temper expectations on until we see how the rotation shakes out in real minutes.
