Leonard sits, but Toronto's 6:30 p.m. EST exhibition is a real look at the supporting cast — and Immanuel Quickley's MIP case starts here.

Raptors Preseason vs. Clippers: Quickley Is the Fantasy Story Without Kawhi
BUY LOW
Immanuel Quickley

Our #69 overall guard is dipping now but owns the Kawhi-less reps.

Key numbers
  • Quickley: 32.8 fantasy pts/game in 2025-26 (actual)
  • Toronto shot 12/41 (29%) from three vs Miami Oct. 3
  • Raptors sat 9 players in 129-105 loss to Heat
  • Murray-Boyles up +3.3 FPTS over his last 5 games
  • Tip-off 6:30 p.m. EST on TSN in Vancouver

Kawhi Leonard won't play, but that's exactly why Toronto's preseason trip to Vancouver matters. With tip-off set for 6:30 p.m. EST, this penultimate exhibition is the clearest look yet at what the Raptors' supporting cast actually is — and for fantasy managers, it's the Immanuel Quickley show. Our model ranks Quickley #69 overall (#33 among guards), coming off 16.4 points, 5.9 assists and 32.8 fantasy points per game across 70 appearances in 2025-26 (actual).

The red flag from Toronto's last outing was ugly: a 129-105 loss to Miami on Oct. 3 with nine players unavailable, including Leonard, and a 12-of-41 (29%) night from deep. That's the shooting ghost that's haunted this roster for years. With Leonard sidelined and Darko Rajakovic likely managing starter minutes, every rotation wrinkle here gets magnified.

Quickley Carries the Load

Here's the fantasy thesis. If Toronto can't lean on three All-Stars — and it probably can't — Quickley becomes the engine that keeps the front office out of the Kyrie Irving sweepstakes. He's the ideal fit next to Leonard: elite catch-and-shoot range plus the burst to attack closeouts and finish with a floater. His name is already floating in Most Improved Player chatter, and preseason reps without Kawhi are where that case gets built.

The caveat: Quickley's form is cooling, down 8.1 fantasy points over his last five games versus his 2025-26 average. That's a dip, not a decline. In an offense that may funnel usage through him early, it reads more like a buying window than a reason to panic.

The Names Worth Tracking

Watch the newcomer too. The jumbo-playmaker pairing of Scottie Barnes and the new addition should produce exactly the kind of big-to-big passing and defensive chaos that travels well — assuming Barnes clears his minor knee scare from the Miami game. On the fantasy fringe, Collin Murray-Boyles is quietly trending up (+3.3 fantasy points over his last five, our #189 overall) and is a sneaky deep-league stash. Jamison Battle (#411) and Alijah Martin (#414) are contract-year and depth pieces respectively — monitor, don't roster.

Bottom line: buy low on Quickley. A cold five-game stretch and a Kawhi-less rotation that puts the ball in his hands make this the moment to pry him loose from a nervous manager. The MIP buzz is real, the catch-and-shoot fit is real, and the recent slump is doing the discount work for you. Murray-Boyles is the only other Raptor worth a speculative add right now.
