Pistons Host Raptors as Cunningham's Cold Streak Clouds a -9.5 Line
Detroit opens as a 9.5-point favorite at Little Caesars Arena, but Cade Cunningham is down 15.6 fantasy points over his last five. Here's the roster read.

Elite workload and a soft matchup trump a short cold stretch.
- Pistons open as 9.5-point home favorites, 7 p.m. ET
- Cunningham: 48.2 FPTS/G in 2025-26, our #7 overall
- Cunningham down 15.6 FPTS vs avg over last 5 (2025-26)
- Quickley down 8.1 FPTS vs avg over last 5 (2025-26)

Detroit welcomes Toronto to Little Caesars Arena tonight at 7 p.m. ET as a 9.5-point favorite, and the betting market clearly likes the home side. On paper that's a comfortable spot for the Pistons' fantasy assets. The wrinkle is Cade Cunningham, who sits at #7 overall in our rankings but is dragging a cold stretch into this one.
Cunningham averaged a monster 48.2 fantasy points per game across 64 appearances last season (2025-26), backed by 23.9 points, 9.9 assists and 5.5 rebounds. Over his last five, though, he's down 15.6 fantasy points against that season average — a real dip, even if the underlying usage hasn't gone anywhere. A home matchup against a Raptors team Vegas thinks loses by double digits is exactly where you'd expect the correction.
Detroit's Supporting Cast
Around Cunningham, the lineup card reads Duncan Robinson, Ausar Thompson, John Collins and Jalen Duren. Robinson is strictly a floor-spacing streamer — he's our #208 overall after a 20.6 fantasy points per game line last season (2025-26). Thompson is the more intriguing name: #108 overall, 28.6 fantasy points per game in 73 games last season (2025-26), and quietly up 1.9 fantasy points over his last five. If Detroit builds the lead the line implies, his minutes and stat-stuffing should hold.
The Raptors Side
Toronto counters with Immanuel Quickley, RJ Barrett, Kawhi Leonard, Scottie Barnes and Jakob Poeltl. Quickley is the fantasy manager's headache here — our #69 overall, 32.8 fantasy points per game last season (2025-26), but currently slumping 8.1 fantasy points below that average over his last five. A tough road spot against a favored Detroit team doesn't scream bounce-back.
The matchup math is simple. Cunningham's five-game slide looks scary in isolation, but the volume that makes him a top-10 play is intact, and a 9.5-point home spread is a get-right environment. Don't overthink it — he stays locked into every lineup. Thompson is a confident start given his trending form, while Quickley is a shakier proposition tonight; hold him if he's your clear second guard, but temper expectations against a defense that should be playing with a cushion.
